RightBrain is the multidisciplinary team behind awan-awan.com, Singapore's first bilingual web television delivering broadcast quality content. It was initially funded by the Media Development Authority under Thymos Capital for iJam. RightBrain produces videos for broadcast and web.

Nina Halim
Nina Halim is a dynamic and versatile individual who burgeons in any creative environment. Given her adventurous nature, she’s always on the edge to try new things and take up new challenges. Having acted for television since she was a kid, it was no surprise when she diversified her skills towards behind the camera.
Nina was a broadcast producer for 10 years with stints in print publication and media marketing before starting out on her own with RightBrain. She is also sitting on the committee of the Malay Artistes Association as Events & Promotions Secretary. Nina graduated from Film, Sound & Video (Ngee Ann Polytechnic) and has always had love affairs with electronic music (especially the French and German), interior design and architecture.
Laurent Thevenet
Laurent Thevenet graduated from École de Conception et de Maintenance de Logiciels (e-cml) and Université de Provence. A software engineer and database architect by training with experience working for an MNC, he specializes in relational databases, distributed computing with a strong focus on Java technologies and platforms like Oracle/PostgreSQL/FreeBSD. A passionate and disciplined individual, he also lectured related subjects from Bsc up to Masters level in France.
A cool geek with an entrepreneurial streak and an ardent fan of Apple since the 80s (his first computer was an Apple II), he has always secretly dreamt of being a creative. He is currently living that dream as Interactive Director at RightBrain and residing in a foreign country with sunshine every other day. He makes music and cannot live without it. RightBrain is his second startup.
